About Creekside Village

Our plan is to build a Prayer, Teaching, Coaching and Conference Center. This facility will house and provide daily care to all residents as an Assisted Living Complex for retired and soon to be retried pastors, missionaries, bible scholars and Christian educators, as well as business and professional men and women.   These gifted servants will freely share with the next generation of leaders wisdom, insight and understanding acquired through decades of experience.  We see Creekside Village as a repository of spiritual knowledge, as well as common sense, waiting to be disseminated to those who request it.  Information about Special Conferences will be sent to people across the United States and other countries by   many different means available and our own, state of the art, communications systems.

How This Project Started

Dr. B. J. Willhite is a Pastor, Teacher, Author, Founder of National Call to Prayer and the National Prayer Embassy in Washington, DC.  Dr. Bob has lived with a vision to build an Assisted Living Facility for many years, however, the vision gained very little attention until January of 2009 when the concept was expanded and clarified. As he shared the details with others their responses was amazing; even miraculous. Suddenly people wanted to help and several people offered assets in the form of stocks and cash to see that such a facility was built. A Christian businessman from the State of Washington was attending a Prayer Conference in Fort Worth, Texas.  Dr. Willhite felt urged to share the vision with this brother and mentioned that he felt   that someone was going to give land to build the project.  The brother’s response was instant, “You got it.” he said, to which Willhite responded, "What do you mean?"  "I have land." The brother replied   When Dr. Willhite inquired about where the land was located, he was told it was about 40 minutes South of Dallas, Texas in the little town of Milford, and if that were not enough he was told that all utilities were on the land.  What a miracle.  From that moment there has been no doubt, God is leading this project.

Our Goals
  1. To follow God’s leading in this venture and to be obedient to the heavenly vision   making His Kingdom Purposes our PRIORITY!
  2. To develop a state of the art communications center where those who are capable and have a desire to do so will answer calls from men and women who need prayer and encouragement.  Using the World Wide Web, Radio and Television our residents will be able to minister to people all around the World, sharing     experiences and teachings that have blessed people to whom they have ministered for many years..
  3. To build an environment where people will want to live and where they will have the opportunity to continue their ministries as God provides the desire and stamina.  Rockland Foundation is not sponsored by any one church or denomination, therefore, we encourage “who-so-ever-will” to become a part of this unique family.
  4. To offer programs that will keep residents healthy, active, and eager to see the Lord working in and through an elder generation. We will provide individually designed diets, professional exercise programs, water aerobics, and limited medical attention will be provided on site for our residents.
  5. To provide on campus ministry opportunities for residents to teach, train, coach, encourage and pray with those who will be invited to attend special seminars on various subjects   Regular corporate prayer times will be scheduled and all residents encouraged to participate.

We believe that there really is no “retirement” for those people who are called by God to “feed His sheep”! We want to help provide a green pasture and some still waters and a comfortable place to live, while we motivate people to keep looking forward to the next events that will keep faith strong, hope renewed and love ALIVE in the hearts and minds of all believers.
